SANGRUR, 18 APRIL

Parliamentary responsibilities are serious business and there are no readymade solutions available said Singla.

Addressing election meetings at sunam he said that there are more than 500 Member of Parliaments of lok sabha seeking development projects from Central funds and one has to have a vision and a strategy to push for the interests and rights of their constituents. Sangrur MP stated that he has spent sleepless nights in Delhi seeking for major development projects like PGI Hospital, synthetic track, new railway trains and bridges etc. and literally pursued files at each level for obtaining approvals for these projects.

It is easy to criticize and promise ‘big things’ but how many political representatives have delivered in the last many decades? Questioned Singla and remarked that opportunism could never do justice to the people of this constituency and urged the constituents to be cautious of such people and measure his performance and only then cast their vote for him. Vijay Inder Singla further said as far as he was concerned he believed in pursuing a development agenda and from the day he has become MP he has worked for the betterment of the constituency in a planned manner and believed in setting high targets for myself and achieving them and this is why big projects have come to Sangrur constituency and reminded people of the proverb ‘jiska kaam ussi ko saje’.
