Congress get shot in its arm as hundred of Akali workers joins Singla's campaign

The ongoing poll campaign of the Congress Party Candidate for Sangrur Lok Sabha Seat Vijay Inder Singla, who is having the political backing of Peoples Party of Punjab (PPP) and the Shiromani Akali Dal, today received a shot in its arm with hundred of Akali Dal workers switching loyality with their party announced to join the Congress Party in the presence of Vijay Inder Singla. 
 
 
Those joined the Congress Party after saying good bye to the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal included Pargat Singh, Darshan Singh, Gurdev Singh, Jaspal Singh, Sukhwinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Tara Singh, Darshan Singh, Jarnai Singh. Gurcharan Singh, Satnam Singh, Major Singh, Jaswant Singh, Raju Khan, Leela Ram etc.
 
 
According to a release issued here this evening from the office of Vijay Inder Singla these people announced that they leaving the Shiromani Akali Dal as they were annoyed to the anti-people policies being followed by the party and have decided to join the Congress Party.
 
 
The release added that senior leader of the Congress Party from Sangrur Subhash Grover and the sarpanch of the village Ghabhan Darshan Singh have played a major role in bringing in these Akali workers in the Congress Party's fold.
While welcoming these people in the party fold Congress Candidate Vijay Inder Singla assured them they will get full adjustments in the party soon and instructed them to fan into their respective areas and work for the party.
