Congress Party candidate Vijay Inder Singla today addressing election rallies in Sangrur constituency remarked  that development works initiated by him will start flowering very soon and increased road and rail connectivity plus setting up of a 449 crore PGI Hospital will bring new jobs, employment and business and put this ‘backward’ constituency on the Punjab road map once again.

Reiterating his view he stated that PGI Sangrur Hospital will change the profile of Sangrur constituency like PGI – Chandigarh had done for Chandigarh city in the initial years when it was set up in the 60s.

Singla stated that he had confidence in the electorate who knows the capabilities of each candidate and gimmickry, deceit and false promises will not yield results and the common man has seen through this drama which is being enacted for votes. He said that there is a visible anti Akali wave in Punjab and BJP (being an alliance partner) has an equal responsibility to share the blame for this situation and people have made up their mind to vote against the corrupt and mafia governance of Akali – BJP Govt. and vote for merit and performance.
