Poll campaign of the Congress party's candidate for Sangrur Lok Sabha seat Vijay Inder Singla is everyday getting strength and party workers are enthused to ensure a victory for the Congress MP with a huge margin.
Addressing meetings in Malerkotla area, Razia Sultana, vice chief of Punjab Congress and former Malerkotla MLA urged her supporters and party workers to canvass strongly for the development work done by the young Congress MP. She stated that report card of Vijay Inder Singla is noteworthy while Akalis have only given people empty promises.
Vijay Inder Singla also observed that the secular fabric and credentials of the country are on test today and time has come to whole heartedly support Congress for moving forward and divisive politics & personalities should not be encouraged. Singla stated that ‘development’ only means self - enrichment for the ruling Akali – BJP Govt. and in their seven year plus rule - one can only see increase in fear and corrupt practices today in Punjab.
Mafia of all kinds whether liquor or sand or drugs rules the State and public interest has been neglected. Small business and industry has been throttled and blackmail is the only weapon which Akalis are employing to govern the State. However Sangrur Congress MP stated that people are aware of all the evil doings in the State and ultimately truth will be victorious and exhorted the people to vote for development and progress. Vijay Inder Singla said that he has been diligently working to bring ‘big ticket’ projects in this region whether it is road or rail connectivity or a Cancer Hospital and assured that he will leave no stone unturned to further bring prosperity to a region which has been neglected by Akalis for decades.
