Mohali---      A delegation of Aryans Group of Colleges under the leadership of Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group met Technical Education Minister, Punjab Sh. Madan Mohan Mittal today. The delegation congratulated Sh Mittal for being appointed as Minister of Industries and Commerce, Technical Education and Industrial Training. Mr. P. Palanivel, Executive Secretary, Educational Promotion Society for India (EPSI), New Delhi was also the part of the delegation.

On the occasion, Sh Mittal said that the Technical Education in Punjab is very strong as compare to other states. He further added that he will try to do efforts to make it stronger so that along with the Punjab students, the state should also cater to the needs of other states.

Dr Anshu Kataria said that Punjab has become Education Hub now, especially the area on Chandigarh-Patiala Highway. Majority of the students from other states come to study these colleges in various courses. He added that the only need is to provide quality education to the students as well as good placement opportunity.

It is to be mentioned that Sh Madan Mohan Mittal is member of Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP). He successfully contented election from Nangal in 1992 as a BJP candidate. In 1997, he was re-elected from Nangal. In 2012, he successfully contested from Anandpur Sahib. Presently he is cabinet minister and holding portfolio of Industries and Commerce, Technical Education and Industrial Training.
