SAS NAGAR: The Punjab Government has expedited the process for setting up residential urban estate phase II over an area of 335.3998 acre land in the area of Mullanpur, Tehsil Kharar, District SAS Nagar.
Notification under the Land Acquisition Act 1894 issued to acquire land
Disclosing this here today on official spokesperson of the Department of Housing and Urban Development said the notification has been issued under the provisions of section-4 of the land Acquisition Act 1894. He said that the setting up of this residential urban estate phase-II has been approved by the Punjab Government in accordance with the notified Master Plan of Mullanpur.
Divulging the details he said that in total 335.3998 acre has to be acquired out of which 329.456 acre would be acquired in the village Hoshiarpur, 0.2375 acre in Majra and 5.7063 acre would be acquired in village Takipur. The spokesman further said that the Plan of the land could be inspected in the office of the Land Acquisition Collector, Urban Development, Punjab, PUDA Bhawan, Ground floor, Sector-62, SAS Nagar.
