Manish Tewari thanks railway minister for running Ludhiana-Delhi Shatabadi daily

Ludhiana--     Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari today thanked the Union Railway Minister Malikarjun Kharge for the daily operation of the Ludhiana-Delhi Shatabadi. Earlier the train was running four days a week.

 

In a statement issued here today, Tewari said, he was thankful to the ministry officials also who had ensured that from September 8, as decided earlier, the Ludhiana-Delhi Shatabadi was made to operate daily.

 

The Minister said, not only does it provide another link to the people of Ludhiana and surrounding areas, but almost the entire Malwa region, with a two minute stoppage  at Sangrur, and parts of Haryana including the areas surrounding Jind and Rohtak.

 

Tewari said, the train has been extended up to Moga since December last and has now stoppages at Jagaraon, Sangrur, Jind and Rohtak also.
