It is very common for various news websites to highlight and focus on celebrities and their bodies.

Not to downgrade the celebrities, but to get quick hits on the news that is saucy; and most of the times it’s always the celebrities to get entangled in such acts. This time it was Deepika Padukone who was caught with such dirty tactics of India’s leading news platform, Times of India. 

However, Deepika was bold enough to speak up and voice out back to them. The Twitter account of the newspaper’s entertainment section tweeted a video of Deepika with the caption, “OMG! Deepika Padukone’s cleavage show!” To this, Deepika very boldly and shrewdly tweeted back, “Yes! I am a woman. I have breasts AND a cleavage! You got a problem!!??” She further added to their shame, “Don’t talk about Woman’s Empowerment when YOU don’t know how to respect Women!” 

The Times of India faked that it is not worried and replied, “It’s a compliment! You look so great that we want to make sure everyone knew!” 

The Twitter users were outraged against the newspaper the whole of Sunday. On Twitter, #IStandWithDeepikaPadukone trended all day.
