After the success of his third installment of the Shakespearen trilogy, Haider, director Vishal Bhardwaj is now working on his next; a biopic on Mary Evans Wadia aka Fearless Nadia. The film titled Julia, revolves around the life of the 1930s’ actress-stunt woman, popular for her portrayal of a princess in the 1935 film, Hunterwali.

Apparently, about eight years ago, Vishal had started working on the script and had even finalised the actors; the lead being a German actress. The production house, however, backed out and the project was shelved.

The director has now resumed work on the script and rumour has it that Deepika Padukone will be seen essaying the role of Nadia. If so, this will be the first time the ace director will work with the Bajirao Mastani actress. Earlier too, Dippy had signed a film with the director but later opted out of the project. Let’s hope the two do collaborate this time around!

The actress is currently busy shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s Tamasha where she’ll be seen sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama Bajirao Mastani which also stars Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra.
