Deepika Padukone- Arjun Kapoor’s Finding Fanny suffers Censor Board’s whiplash!

August 25, 2014 08:10 PM

The Censor Board has cracked its whip on the upcoming Arjun Kapoor- Deepika Padukone starrer. We hear that the Board had an objection to the word ‘virgin’ being used in the film by DP.

They even called for a deletion of that particular scene wherein Deepika reveals to Arjun that she is a virgin. A source close to the Finding Fanny team says, “Apart from the scene where Deepika is talking about her virginity, there’s one more scene where Deepika is shown pulling off her bra strap. This too has been deleted by the examining committee of the Censor Board.”

Another scene which the Censors had an objection to was the one where Pankaj Kapoor is seen ogling at Dimple Kapadia’s derriere. The makers of FF were against complete deletion of that two-minute part and decided to retain it as a flash.

Finally, the English version of Homi Adajania’s caper has been passed for viewing with a U/A certificate and two cuts. The Hindi version is yet to undergo the censoring process…
