After the success of Milkha Singh’s biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, it seems every filmmaker wants to cash on this new hit formula. Buzz suggests that filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt has plans to make a biopic on badminton player Saina Nehwal. The makers are eyeing on Deepika Padukone to essay the lead role.

Apparently Sania herself has suggested the Ram-Leela actor since Dippy is the daughter of veteran badminton player, Prakash Padukone and she herself plays the sport well. Moreover, Bhatt’s company Vishesh Films who is known for making their heroines look bold and sultry onscreen may just make the Cocktail star look extra sizzling with those short skirts on the court.

Bollywood has suddenly been smitten by these sports personalities. Besides Ranbir Kapoor’s ex girlfriend, Priyanka Chopra too is doing a biopic on boxer Mary Kom and John Abraham too has been signed to play footballer Sibdas Bhaduri in Shoojit Sircar’s next called1911.
