LUDHIANA:    Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Manish Tewari today greeted people on the eve of Dussehra. He prayed
that may this festival usher in a new period of joy, celebrations and festivity in the people’s life.

        In his message to the people, Tewari pointed out, this festival marks the triumph of Lord Rama who fought for the righteousness over the evil king Ravan. He said, this festival also reminds us and reaffirms in us the firm belief that no matter how strong and powerful the evil may be ultimately it is the good which has to triumph over the evil.

     The Minister said the message of this festival holds much importance today when there are evil forces which are trying to raise their head. “We need to defeat those forces and always follow the path of righteousness even if it may be a difficult path because the victory will always be that of the right over the wrong”, he said.
