CHANDIGARH--   The Punjab Government has invited applications for the recruitment of 461 inspectors in the food, civil supplies & consumer affairs department. Giving the details a spokesperson of the Punjab Government said that 461 posts of the inspectors (Group-B) in the food, civil supplies & consumer affairs department would be filled to direct recruitment from various categories. The pay scale of the inspector is 10300-34800+ 4200 GP with the initial pay of Rs. 16290.

            Eligible candidates can apply online by November 9, 2013 which is the last date to apply for this post. Candidate can log in to the official website www.foodsuppb.nic.in to fill on line application form. Application received through any other means would not be entertained. Eligibility would be taken on December 15, 2013. The spokesman further said that the applicant must have possessed bachelor or equivalent degree from any recognized university and having passed matriculation with Punjabi subject.  He said that for further information one can log in to official website www.foodsuppb.nic.in.
