Mohali--   A Declamation Contest was organized by Aryans Group of Colleges,Chandigarhat its campus situated at Village Nepra,Chandigarh-Patiala Highway, Near Chandigarh. Around 1000 B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Ed, BA, B.Com, Polytechnic, Nursing students of Aryans Group participated in the Contest.

The students spoke on various topics including “Women Empowerment”, “Corruption inIndia”, “Role of Technology in Education” and “Impact of Indian Cinema on Society” etc. All the participants gave speeches on their respective topics.In Engineering, Ciansiane stood first, Kajal & Aadil stood second and Imtiaz third. In Non Engineering, Harpreet stood first, Faaiz stood second and Avneet stood third. A panel of 3 judges gave their judgment on the basis of various criterias mentioned. Dr. (Mrs.) Parveen Kataria, Principal, Aryans Group gave prizes to the winners. She also emphasized the need of speech and declamation competitions for the proper grooming of the personality of students.

Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that the Group promotes such events because it instills confidence and sense of responsibility among the students. He also praised the students for putting up such an informative and well organized show.
