Chandigarh: To impart technical education in the state the Punjab government has given its nod to Technical Education Department to sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the American data base company Oracle. It would be fruit full for teaching faculty as well as students of the state.
Disclosing this here today Mr. Anil Joshi. Technical Education and Industrial Training Minister, Punjab said that this contract would be instrumental in professional enhancement in all the technical institutions of the state. The teaching faculty in technical institutions would be updated through the programmes of Oracle life data based design SQL programming, java programming, java fundamental and others online courses, he added.
He further said that under this MOU guest lectures and seminars for the students and workshops for the faculty members would also be conducted by the Oracle, similarly advanced computer programmes would be started in the engineering colleges and basic modules would be taught in Polytechnic colleges.
