Deputy Chief Minister expresses grief over two road accidents in Punjab

Chandigarh --     The Deputy Chief Minister Punjab, Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal today expressed deep shock and anguish over the tragic road accidents near Village Jandwal Mukerian where a tourist bus from Uklana in Haryana heading towards Vaishnodevi  met with an accident today morning. As many as six pilgrims died on the spot and 25 badly injured. In yet another head on collision between truck and bus near Doaba College Kharar as many as three persons died while 35 seriously injured.

Expressing profound grief and sorrow over this disastrous accident, the Deputy Chief Minister shared his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved families and prayed to the Almighty to give them courage to bear this irreparable loss in the hour of crisis and grant peace to the departed souls. Meanwhile he has asked the district administration of both Hoshiarpur and Mohali to ensure adequate medical assistance to the injured.
