Dhawan nominated as member of BJP’s National Union Territory Working Group

Chandigarh: Mr. Harmohan Dhawan, Ex Union Minister and a Sr. BJP leader has been nominated as the Member’s of the 7 member BJP National Working Group for Union Territory Affairs by Sh. Raj Nath Singh, National President of the BJP. Smt. Nezma Heptullah as Chairperson of the Working Group on Union territories. The 6 other members nominated to the Working Group include Sh. Vijay Kapoor, MP, Sh. Rajiv Pratap Ruddy MP, Sh. Harmohan Dhawan (Former Union Minister), Sh. Vishanu Pad Ray MP(Andeman Nicobar), Sh. Nattu Bahi MP(Daman Div) and Sh. Lalu Bhai MP (Dader Nagar Haveli). This announcement was made by Sh. Rajnath Singh in New Delhi. Sh. Raj Nath Singh, National President, BJP has constituted 13 groups of the party for Policy Formulation in areas of Social and National importance, including legal, economic, security, agriculture, foreign affairs, women, SC, ST, etc. Among others, Sh. Ravi Shanker Parshad has been nominated as the Chairman of Neighbouring Countries Working Group, Sh. Yashwant Sinha as the Chairman of Economic Working Group, Sh. Jaswant Singh as Chairman of Foreign Affairs Working Group, Smt. Nezma Heptullah as Chairperson of the Working Group on Union territories and Sh. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi as chairman of the Working Group on Minorities. Giving this information to the media, Sh. Davinder Aulakh said that all the workers of BJP Chandigarh are feeling honoured by the nomination of Sh. Harmohan Dhawan as the member of this high power Working Group of the party and are grateful to the party high command for that.
