Chandigarh-- A joint meeting of Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar and Punjab Unaided Technical Institutes Association (PUTIA) held today under the leadership of Dr. Rajneesh Arora, VC, PTU. The meeting was attended by Dr J S Dhaliwal, Chairman, PUTIA; S Jagdish Singh Garcha, Ex Minister and the Chairmen of different colleges including Mr Gurvinder Bahra, Rayat Bahra Group; Dr Anshu Kataria, Aryans Group; Mr Sukhdev Singla, Indo Global College; Mr Gurkirat Singh, Gulzar Group; S Charanjit Singh Channi, CT Group; Sh. Rohin Sachdeva, Lala Lajpat Rai Group etc.
VC,PTU emphasized on Quality Education & Quality Placements
On other side, Dr Buta Singh, Dean Academics, PTU; Dr Anirudh P Singh, Dean RIC; Sh Ekonkar Singh, Deputy Registrar, Academics, PTU; S. Paramjit Singh, Deputy Exam Controller etc. participated in the meeting from PTU. On the occasion, Dr Rajneesh said that PTU Personnel and Colleges should emphasize on Quality Education and both the parties should put their best efforts for spreading Quality Education all over Punjab. Dr Dhaliwal said that the colleges are putting every possible effort not only for providing quality education but also providing good Placement Opportunities to the students to make Punjab a best destination for education all over India.It is to be mentioned that the joint delegation of PTU and PUTIA is participating in the GEDC Conference which is to be held during 20-22nd October 2013 at Chicago, USA. The delegation would visit various Universities in USA also.
