Chandigarh: Directorate of Governance Reforms,Punjabhas conducted a 2 Days Specialized Training program on e-Governance for officials of the state. Disclosing this a spokesman of Governance Reforms Department, Punjab said that this workshop was organized for Additional Deputy Commissioners, Directors/ Joint Directors, Additional Directors, Deputy Directors, Nodal officers of the State Government, to equip them with skills & knowledge on state level e-Governance initiatives & e-Governance projects being implemented in the state under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP).
This training was organized in coordination with National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT),Chandigarh and was attended by senior officials from various State Departments and District Offices. Mr. Rajnish Malhotra Head SeMT welcomed distinguished officers for 2 days e-Governance program on behalf of Department of Governance Reforms, Government of Punjab.
During the 2 days program on e-Governance, participants were provided knowledge on introduction to e-Governance, National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) GOI Initiatives. Govt. Service Categories - G2C, G2G, G2B, G2E, e-Governance Project Implementation, Core & Support implementation, Participants Introduction, Service Delivery Models, e-Governance Project Development life Cycle, Government Process Re-engineering, Change Management and Capacity Building, Introduction to Business Models & PPP, Project Monitoring and need of PMU
This 2 days event was concluded by Dr.V.N.Zade, IAS, Director Department of Governance Reforms .During his concluding address, Dr.V.N.Zade, IAS, shared his perspective on the significance of e-Governance Projects for providing benefits to the citizens and state Officials, Dr.V.N Zade ,IAS, Director Department of Governance Reforms distributed participation certificates to distinguished officers / officials of various State Departments / Offices.
