7th Orientation Week of Aryans Group ends with Bollywood Case Studies

Mohali --  Bollywood Case Studies were the main attractions in the Orientation Week of 7th Academic Session of Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges. The aim was to promote education through entertainment (edutainment) and to create the interest of the students in studies. In the Orientation Programme for freshers, "Chak De! India" in MBA,"3 Idiots” in B.Tech & "Taare Zameen Par" in B.Ed were the first chapters in Aryans Group of Colleges,Chandigarh. The other case studies which were discussed include "Rocket Singh", "Iqbal", "Corporate", "Lakshya" etc.

 In the Orientation week of the freshers, the management along with other personalities interacted and would be interacting with the students and sharing their experiences. Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group, Dr Parveen Kataria, Director General, Aryans Group, Dr P.B.Mahapatra, Director, Aryans College of Engineering, Prof.A.P.Jain, Director, Aryans Group; Mr B.S.Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group; Dr Manjula Kataria, Principal, Aryans College of Education and Mrs.Sarita Jain, Dean Academics, Aryans Group are few of them.

 

 

 

Dr.Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that these types of case studies and lectures will help in generating their interest in studies. It will provide guidance not only for being an effective manager but also will guide how to excel in their respective areas and become a role model for others, Kataria added.

 

 

 

It is worth mentioning that Aryans Group has been awarded for “Excellence in Education” byDr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, Former President; Sh. Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister of Punjab; Sh. Shivraj V Patil, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator Chandigarh; Dr. Kiran Bedi, First Women IPS Officer ofIndia; S. Joginder Singh, Ex-Director, CBI etc. The Group has also been honoured for “Excellence in career building” by Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Minister of State for Human ResourceDevelopment, India.

 

 

 

It is to be mentioned that Established in 2007, Aryans campus is located at Chandigarh–Patiala highway, near Chandigarh on lush green 20 acres pollution free campus. The group is running Management College, Under Graduate College, Engineering College, Nursing College, Education College & Junior Science College (+1 & +2 Non Medical).

It can only distract their mind and would decrement in their percentages .

It shall be continued if it generated the interests of students so far,else there shall be some other methodology to be used.

It is a good methodology and students will produce best results due to their keen interests in studies.

Along with this policy,there must be some trainings to be imparted to students that would be relevant for their future.
