Maluka expresses gratitude to the teachers

Chandigarh :  The Education Minister Punjab Mr. Sikander Singh Maluka has appreciated the gesture of teachers in the state who had contributed Rs. 2 crore 12 lac in the Chief Minister's relief fund for the Uttrakhand disaster.

       In a statement issued here today he has expressed his gratitude to the teaching community for coming forward & helping the humanity in this hour of grave crisis.

       Mr. Maluka said that the cheque has already been handed over to the Chief Minister and he has urged the Uttrakhand government to ensure proper rehabilitation to the families. Mr. Maluka assured the Uttrakhand government that the Punjab would always remain available for any kind of support besides extending financial support.

Its good by helping Uttrakhand by every means to let them rehabilitate.
