Provisional admission granted to students having compartments: Joshi

Chandigarh--  The Punjab government has accorded permission to the students having compartments in 10+2 to get provisional admissions in technical colleges, polytechnic colleges and ITIs.

          Disclosing this here today Mr. Anil Joshi said that this decision has been taking into considering the future prospectus of the students willing to pursue the technical courses. He said that these students would have to clear the compartment before the examination of first semester failing which the admission of such students would deem to be cancelled.

          Mr. Joshi said that this is a welcome step to promote the technical education. He said that the vacant seats in technical institutions would soon be filled.

This would help the students who were not able to take admission that time.
