Conspire:

The film is based on O Henry’s classic short story and is unquestionably one of the best

movies of the two starring actors’ career.

■The movie starts with an archaeologist named as Varun (Ranveer Singh) who arrives in

Manikpur village located in West Bengal. He uses his personality and confidence to

astonish the local Zamindar and wins the trust to dig the temple grounds.

■(Sonakshi Sinha) Pakhi is the daughter of Zamindar is attracted towards him and starts

spending time with Varun by marking their meetings as ‘painting classes’. They both fall

in love with one another. Varun accepts this before Pakhi’s father. Their marriage gets

fixed, that happens in the most bollywood movies.

■But the twist comes when the Zamindar and Pakhi realize that Varun is actually a con

who has stolen the antique riches of the Zamindar and has left.

Performances:

Both the actors’ performance is distinctive and they have put their best individual characters

with honesty. Barun Chanda, the Zamindar has ended his role quite influentially
