Having wonderful reviews, Ranveer –Sonakshi’s Lootera, a Balaji production opened with a huge 5.15 crores business on July 5. The touching effect was noticeable with the 25-30% jump in the following weekend. The Sunday’s business was even better, with a maximum of 30 percent all over the country.

The opening of Lootera was predicted to be somewhere near 19 crores. This was commendable for a film with a multiplex release. According to commercial websites in India, Lootera’s overall assortment is 16 crores.

On the other hand Sanjay Dutt’s Policegiri fell flatly on the release day itself. It has proved to be a huge setback to its makers. The action flip could only bring together 8.25 crores. Due to deficient promotions, the film couldn’t make up with the lowest anticipated standard. The film was meant fully for gathering audiences at cinemas across the country. Unfortunately, this didn’t happen. Policegiri is a failure at the multiplexes.
