Eggless strawberry cake

METHOD

 
  1. Add 1 tbsp sugar and strawberry chunks together and keep aside for a few minutes.
  2. Whip the cream until it holds a soft peak, cover and refrigerate for a few minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
  4. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and 2 tbsp sugar and mix.
  5. Add small cubes of butter and mix until you get a coarse mixture.
  6. Transfer it to a large bowl, make a well and pour the milk.
  7. Stir gently with a fork.
  8. Grease a cake pan, pour the batter and bake for 10 minutes or until it has risen and become golden brown.
  9. Remove from the pan and slice the biscuits as you desire.
  10. Decorate with a few strawberries and whipped cream and serve.
