Woollen Blankets given to Handicap Children

In a Function organized today at Community Centre, Sector-56,
Chandigarh by The Handicap Welfare Association, Chandigarh with the
collaboration of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Society Sector-56, Chandigarh,
Free woollen blankets were distributed to the very poor and needy
Handicap children.
Principal Bahadur Singh Gosal, Chairman, The Handicap Welfare
Association, Chandigarh gave away the woollen blankets to 25 such
children. He said that this organization is working for the last 25
years for the welfare of the handicap children and helping them from
time to time in education & otherwise. At present more than 150
handicap children are associated with this organization.
He appealed to the handicaps children to remain away from the Drugs
and to get maximum education for the better life. Mr. Ramesh
Chandolya, President of the association told about the achievements of
the association for the cause of education to the children. In this
programme it was declared that on every Puran Masi (Full Moon Light) a
meeting of the Handicaps will be held in Community Centre Sector-56,
Chandigarh regularly for the solutions of the problems related to the
handicap children.
Members of both the organizations and a large members of the Parents
of the handicap children were present on the occasion.
