Kids from the
slum, Sector 25, Chandigarh had a gala weekend at Chatbir Zoo.

Tammana having organised this left no stone unturned to make this day
memorable for the kids by giving them not only a learning experience,
but also an exciting adventure. The children were taken in a bus to
the Zoo accompanied by the NGO members; where they enjoyed being a
part of this interactive outing by singing songs on the way ; and also
the included learning discussions, exchange of thoughts and smiles.

Team Tammana moved with a planning of several days and it went on to
be a major success. The kids appeared visibly relaxed and extremely
happy. Most of them had visited the Zoo for the first time, and it was
quite a visual treat for the kids to find their favorite animals in
closed enclosures. They were awestruck finding the zebra , bear ,
leopard , and more wild animals. It was a refreshing sight to witness
Team Tammana reveling in the shared joys of bringing happiness to
these kids. We wish the team all the very best for all their future
endeavours, and hope they continue to bring about a change with their
thoughtful gestures!
