Due to work commitments, Sonam Kapoor will be unable to visit the home land for the promotions of her films along with co-star, Fawad Khan. She said that she would love to visit the country some other time in future. 

Sonam plans to make her presence felt to her fans in Pakistan, despite of her misfortune of not being able to go there for the promotion of her movie ‘Khoobsurat’. She allegedly said, “I was going to Pakistan (earlier). But (now) I am recording a message and I am doing as much (interviews with) Pakistan media as I can to promote the film.” 

Sonam also said that she is very eager to visit Pakistan; “I really, really want to go. My forefathers are from Peshawar and mom’s side of the family comes from Karachi. So there is so much of a connection …. I am just a second generation Indian.” 

Sonam will be caught up with a shooting schedule of ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” after her current promotional activities.
