The Dolly Ki Doli diva stepped out in an understated avatar…

Sonam Kapoor turned heads with her fantastic style statement at the Filmfare Awards 2015. But she was seen in a distinct avatar at Irshad Kamil’s book launch yesterday. The Khoobsurat actress wore a muted Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla anarkali and teamed it with glittering baubles in her ears. I liked the look especially because I see Sonam so rarely in traditional outfits. My only qualm with it was how her make-up was done. The under-eye make-up should have been fixed before Sonam stepped out. Nevertheless, Ms K managed to own the look and for the brief bit when she sported reading glasses, she looked adorable. Irrfan Khan and Farah Khan also attended the book launch.

A source close to the Dolly Ki Doli actress told me, “Sonam is really sick and instead of taking rest at home she is going for Irshad Kamil’s book launch. She is really fond of good literature and she wouldn’t let ill-health come in the way!”
