Captain Amarinder Singh my political mentor, says Singla

Sangrur:

Responding to Akali statements regarding Congressmen not seeing eye to eye with each other, Sangrur Congress candidate Vijay Inder Singla today said that Badal-Akali Government sensing the support for Congress in Punjab have gone berserk and started intimidating and leveling charges against the Congress workers which will not work in 2014 elections as people know that Akali – BJP alliance has only represented mafia interests in Punjab till now and not public interest.

Vijay Inder Singla further commented that Captain Amarinder Singh has been his political mentor and he learned the ropes of public service initially from his late father Sant Ram Singla and thereafter it was Maharaja Patiala who has been standing with him in his political career and he owes a lot to him in life. Where is the question of working against each other in Patiala and Sangrur?

We are part of one family said Singla and remarked that such accusations are only a figment of imagination and Congress is united against the evil designs of Akalis.

Sangrur Congress candidate Singla also observed that AAP only believes in ‘dharna’ politics and people of Punjab will see through their ‘empty’ idealism claims (as seen in Delhi) and not waste their valuable franchise on them and will vote after evaluating each candidate on his capability, credentials and work done.
