The Singham actor turns 45 today

Born on April 2, 1969,Ajay Devgn  made a smashing entry in Bollywood with his debut film Phool Aur Kaante in 1991. His first film earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut and then Devgn went on to star in hit films like Jigar, Diwale, Suhaag and Diljale. While Ajay was considered action superstar during ‘90s, he proved his versatility as an actor by doing Mahesh Bhatt’s critically acclaimed filmZakhm in 1998.Kajol's  hubby dearest not only won accolades for his intense performance in this film but it also fetched him his first National Award in the Best Actor category. Since then the talented actor has portrayed various roles on the big screen. From playing a dedicated husband in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam to tickling our funny bone with his comic antics in Golmaal franchise, Devgn has done it all and quite effortlessly. While professionally this superstar has proved his mettle time and again, personally Ajay Devgn likes to stay away from the limelight. Besides being a fantastic actor, he is a perfect husband and a doting father too.

Currently, Ajay is busy shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Singham 2 which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead. While we hope the sequel of Singham becomes a blockbuster, here’s wishing Ajay Devgn a very birthday!
