The director who believes anybody can dance turns 42 today
Born on April 2, 1972,Remo D’Souza will blow 42 candles on his birthday cake today. Remo proved himself as a director by making India’s first 3D dance film,ABCD – AnyBody Can Dance. His first movie as a director was F.A.L.T.U., which was a moderate success at the box office. He is not only a good director but also an actor and choreographer. As far as his choreography is concerned, Remo has numerous films to his name, right from the year 1995 to the present. Recently, he won the award for Best Choreographer for Badtameez dil and Balam pichkari from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani . In the recent times, he choreographed for movies like Jai Ho, Dedh Ishqiya, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, Besharam and Krrish 3. Remo was also a judge of the dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa along with Madhuri Dixit Nene and Karan Johar. To those of you who don’t know Remo D’Souza changed his name from Gopi to Remo when he converted to Christianity from Hinduism.
