CHANDIGARH, The Punjab Government has slightly changed the schedule of flag unfurling ceremony of Republic Day. Now Mr. Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, PWD Minister would unfurl the National Flag at Sri Mukatsar Sahib instead of Barnala. Similarly Mr. Parkash Chand Garg, Chief Parliamentary Secretary would unfurl the National Flag at Barnala instead of Sri Mukatsar Sahib. Whereas at Dera Baba Nanak, SDM would unfurl the National Flag as Mr. Harmeet Singh Sandhu, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, would not be able to present at the occasion at Dera Baba Nanak due to certain urgency. It was disclosed by an Official Spokesman of the Punjab Government.
