CHANDIGARH: The State Government, in order to bring transparency in the process of allocation of departments to candidates selected in the Punjab State Civil Competitive Combined Examination, 2012, has decided to hold counselling.
A spokesman of the Punjab Government said that as per the guidelines of the personal department, all the selected candidates are requested to be present for the counselling on 4-1-2014 at 9.30 AM in Punjab University Auditorium, Department of English studies, Chandigarh (Near Gate-1) along with original certificates/documents.
In the event of extreme unavoidable exigency, if any candidate is unable to attend the counselling, he should inform about his willingness to join the post being allocated to him/her, at the E-mail ID pp3branch@punjab.gov.in or through Fax No-0172-2740553. The spokesman has also made it clear that if no information is received before the date of counselling, it will be presumed that he/she is not inclined to join the post being allocated to him/her and the next candidate in the merit list would be considered for that post as per his/her preference.
