Bathinda:  Congratulating the people of Punjab on the eve of New Year, Bathinda Member Parliament Harsimrat Kaur Badal said “Punjab’s prosperity and development have been on top of our agenda. I want peace, social and communal harmony on the eve of New Year. My vision for 2014 and even beyond is to see Punjabbecome self reliant in all respects. I want the rural and urban areas to flourish alike,”

Harsimrat further said, “My primary fight and that of my NGO Nanhi Chhaan is to empower every woman. I look forward to see Punjab free from the maladies like female feticide, dowry and drug addiction, besides we promise to generate more employment opportunities for youth, provide better Healthcare and educational facilities to the people of Bathinda as well as rest of the state,” said Bathinda MP in her message on New Year.
