Congress needs wisdom and will to understand the industrial revolution in Punjab---Sukhbir Badal

Jagraon: Shiromani Akali Dal President and Deputy Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal came down heavily on the congress and other political parties for their constantly misleading the people onPunjab’s industrial revival. Commenting on the lack of will and wisdom of this anti Punjab stance of the political leaders, Mr. Badal said that the state’s industrial growth has got a new direction with the culmination of the successful progressivePunjabinvestors’ summit. Reacting to the hollow comments of the political opponents about the investors summit as a “drama”, Mr. Badal said that it was unfortunate that these leaders still lack insight to recognize the will and commitment of the Punjab government.

He also said that the recently concluded investors summit in the presence of top business industrialists fromIndiaand abroad was beyond imagination of the shallow minded so called political leaders. He advised them to get verify the facts before going to media to merely gain media attention with superficial information. Mr. Badal also said that the congress was desperate in regaining its base in the recent assembly elections to four states. Talking to media persons while reviewing the arrangements of Mr. Narender Modi’s rally at Jagraon on December 21, Mr. Badal said that the forthcoming rally in honour of Mr. Modi would be one of the largest rallies ever organized inPunjab. Mr. Badal exhorted the leaders and workers of the SAD-BJP to uproot the Congress led UPA government in the coming elections and elect the NDA in the larger public interest.

 

Taking stock of the security measures being taken by the state Mr. Badal accompanied by the state police chief Mr. Sumedh Saini, said that the security machinery have been fully geared up. He also said that huge “Pandal” is being set up in an area of 96 acres with large four stages for the prominent leaders attending the rally. He asked the administration to ensure smooth flow of vehicular traffic in the city on rally day so that people do not face any hazards. Prominent amongst others who were present included Mr. Sharanjit Singh Dhillon, PWD Minister, Mr. Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal, Mr. Kamal Sharma President Punjab unit of BJP, Mr. Balwant Singh Ramoowalia and Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema MLA.
