People on the way of the yatra were shouting slogans in favour of the congress and UPA Govt and were enthusiastically welcoming the Adhikar Yatra at various places inLudhiana. Lucky Kapoor with other workers welcomed the yatra at Jagraon bridge and  the team led by Bharat Bhushan Ashu, MLA and Sh. Baljinder Singh Bunty welcomed the Yatra at Bharat Nagar Chowk and Jawahar Nagar Camp respectively. Addressing the gathering, the PYC Chief said that Punjabunder the ruling of SAD-BJP  has back tracked on all the promises they made in their election manifesto. The youth of Punjabis highly disoriented and struggling with not just un-employment but under depression, is also reeling under the evil influence of drugs which has rendered the “Punjabi Gabroo” unfit for anything constructive in life.

The Govt. is synonym with sand mafia, drug mafia, illegal mining which has become lucrative and thriving business thanks to the unabated support and patronage of Punjab Govt. What an irony it is that the Punjab police which has won accolades in the past for successfully containing and mitigating terrorism in Punjab, has been reduced to the position of mute spectator to the growing menace of sand and drug mafia as none of the members of the force has the audacity to question the patronage and blessings accorded to these vices by the ruling SAD-BJP combine specially the Badal clan. Sadly, BJP also seem to have given its silent consent to perpetration of the SAD just for a few ministerial berths. Punjab Youth Congress Chief said that he has vehemently protested against usurping of the UPA schemes by the Punjab Govt and has filed a petition in this regard in the Pb & Haryana High Court which is pending for 23rd of this month. Lashing out at the imposition of the property tax in the garb of regularization of the colonies, the poor house owners are turning tenants in their own properties.

These umpteen atrocities thrusted on the masses by the Badal govt under the pretext of good governance has convinced the masses that by giving the second term to the Akali Govt, they have committed suicidal blunder by giving them yet another chance to unleash a rein of terror, greed, corruption, high handedness of Jathedars, mis-governance in every department of the state Govt.

He took a jibe at today’s statement of Sukhbir Badal, Dy. Chief Minister Punjab who as a master bluff-master has again said that people of Punjab do not need money but ideas, proving that money is only for Badal family. Lauding the achievements of Manish Tiwari Minister for Information & Broadcasting GOI, New Delhi, PYC Chief said he has brought in Rs.100 crores from the PM for cleansing of Budha Nala, starting of Shatabdi Express from Ludhiana via Rohtak and starting of FM Radio station Ludhiana, Rs. 100 crore for roads, he is fulfilling his promises  whereas the ruling alliance has done nothing for the Manchester of India, the only Industrial city of the state except making false announcements.
