Chandigarh---   Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Jathedar Avtar Singh was bereaved today as he lost his younger son S. Tejinderpal Singh Soni (38), who passed away here at PGI this afternoon after renal failure. He is survived by his widow, a daughter and a son.

Meanwhile, the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad and untimely demise of S. Tejinderpal Singh Soni who passed away in the prime of his youth. Sharing his heart felt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, friends and relatives, Mr. Badal prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss in this hour of grief.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal and Information & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia also mourned the passing away of S. Tejinderpal Singh Soni and shared their heartfelt condolences with the family.

 Advisor to Chief Minister on Media and National Affairs Mr. Harcharan Bains, also condoled the death of S. Tejinderpal Singh Soni.
According to the family sources, the cremation of S. Tejinderpal Singh Soni would take place tomorrow (Tuesday) at cremation ground, Model Town Extension in Ludhiana at 11 AM
