Mohali--  The 15th “Aryans Mega Job Fair” organized by Aryans Group of Colleges,Chandigarhtoday at its campus received an overwhelming response. Around 2800 students from various Institutes of northindiaParticipated in the Fair. A total of 239 out of around 2800 were shortlisted for 40 Companies. Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges Presided over the event.

Expressing his great joy at the remarkable success of this event, Chairman of the Group Dr Anshu Kataria congratulated the Placement Cell of the Group for having put in round the clock efforts for this job fest and said that such a fest offers a tremendous opportunity to the students who manage finding a job that fits their requirements and profile.

Students from various Educational Groups like Bhai Gurdas, Sangrur,ChitkaraUniversity, Banur, Dr IT ,GGS, Kharar, IET, Bhaddal, PU,Chandigarh, RIMT Mandi Gobindgarh, Surya World, SUS Tangori, SVIET Ramnagar, Swami Devi Dyal, Barwala, UIET Hoshiarpur, Universal Lalru were also present. After a series of written tests and interviews, the companies picked up about 239 students from Different courses.

Dr Kataria further said the Group made available this opportunity to students of other Institutes. He further said that in today’s time of Recession where companies are shunting off employees such job fairs provide an excellent opportunity to the job seekers.” He added that this job fest remains “one of the biggest strength of the Institution and every time the Group manage many good job offers in the market.

It is worth mentioning that this is the 15th job fest being held by the institute and with the campus visits of 300 companies in previous year the college is moving towards the number which is almost double in this year, Aryans Group is being counted among the elite Educational Groups of the region. The fest got a great response and was fruitful for the students as well, who got an excellent opportunity.
