Brazil playmaker Ronaldinho will be sidelined for around three months following a thigh injury picked up in training.
According to team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar Friday, the 33-year-old Ronaldinho injured his thigh during training Thursday and an MRI showed the 2002 World Cup winner had a torn muscle, reports Xinhua.
"We must be careful in talking about time frames when it comes to a muscle injury -- it depends much on the player," Lasmar said.
"It is a serious injury and the recovery time is not short. He could be back in three months, three and a half or maybe even two and a half."
