Jasjit Singh UK demands resignation of DSGMC chief for spreading RSS ideology

NEW DELHI/ CHANDIGARH: In a press statement issued here, Jasjit Singh UK, the president of Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi-UK, demanded resignation of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC)'s president Manjeet Singh GK due to alleged misuse of Gurdwara funds for enjoying joyrides in aeroplanes and insulting Sikh community at the behest of RSS during his trip to United Kingdom.

He blamed that misusing the funds of DSGMC, its office-bearers were not only touring abroad along with their sycophants but also were spreading the ideology of Sangh Parivar in foreign countries. He said that DSGMC office-bearers want to get election tickets from RSS-BJP in the forthcoming Delhi assembly elections and for this purpose, they are not even hesitating from using dirty tricks like insulting the Sikhs.

Therefore, by adopting the ideology of RSS while participating in a talk show in England; Manjeet Singh GK implied that he had nothing to do with the emotions of the Sikhs.

Jasjit Singh said that Manjit Singh GK blames a specific political party for each and every problem faced by the Sikhs but he should reply to the question whether his own father Jathedar Santokh Singh was a pro-Sikh or anti-Sikh leader, as he (Jathedar Santokh Singh) himself remained dedicated to that party throughout his life and progressed in his political career by flattering the same party.

Jasjit Singh demanded that the office-bearers of DSGMC should resign from their respective posts before applying for tickets for Delhi assembly elections and should wear Khaki shorts instead of Kurta-pyajamas, in order to reveal their true ideology.

Jasjit Singh claimed that DSGMC office-bearers have become addictive of joyrides in aeroplanes. Therefore, after the great tragedy of Uttarakhand they wasted a lot of money on aerial joyrides and are still going abroad almost every month by misusing the Gurdwara funds. He questioned whether DSGMC office-bearers have fulfilled all their promises made in election manifesto and solved other issues of the Sikhs of Delhi, which is prompting them to make frequent but unnecessary trips to foreign countries.
