3 Days specialized training on e-governance programme

CHANDIGARH--  Directorate of Governance Reforms, Punjab has conducted 3 Day Specialized Training programm on e Governance for officers of the state. The training was conducted in the hotel Shivalik View, Chandigarh.
 
 
Disclosing this a spokesman of governance reforms department, Punjab said that this workshop was organized for Additional Deputy Commissioners, Directors , Joint Directors , Additional Directors , Deputy Directors ,Govt. representatives in State , Project e-Governance Mission Teams ,Project Management Units (PMUs) , Project Managers Nodal officers for e-Governance of State Government to equip them with skills and knowledge on Change Management & Capacity Building’This training was organized in coordination with National Institute of SMART Government (NISG), Hyderabad and was attended by senior officers/ Officials from various State Departments and District Offices.
 
 
Mr. Rajnish Malhotra Head SeMT Welcomed distinguished officers for Three days e-Governance program on behalf of Department of Governance Reforms, Government of Punjab. Mr. Malhotra laid focus on importance of Change Management & Capacity Building in various e-Governance projects.


During the 3 days program on Change Management & Capacity Building, participants were provided knowledge on Introduction to e-Governance and Change, Significance of ‘People’ and ‘Organizational’ Change, Managing People Change, Change Management Plan, Identifying enablers & disablers to change, Developing a Communication Strategy , Skill Assessment and Development.
This 3 days event was concluded by Dr. Kalpana Mathur, from NISG. During her concluding address, she shared her perspective on the significance of Change Management & Capacity Building for ensuring success of all e-Governance Projects.
