NDA to bring back ‘Black Money’ on priority-Sukhbir Badal

GURUHARSAHAI: Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab today said  bringing back 'black money’ stashed in Swiss Banks would be the priority of National Democratic Alliance, immediate after coming back power in the forthcoming parliamentary elections. Blowing the bugle for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Mr. Badal gave a clarion call to the electorate to oust the world’s ‘most corrupt’ Congress led UPA government asserting he was certain the UPA would face a massive defeat in 2014.


Talking to media persons after addressing SAD-BJP workers at Guruharsahai, Mr. Badal also ridiculed the information given by the Union Finance Minister that the investigations regarding ‘Black Money’ were still being conducted. He said this assertion was surprising adding once the NDA government came into being black money stashed abroad would be brought back into the country immediately.

Holding the Congress led UPA government responsible for the economic slowdown in the country, the Deputy Chief Minister said despite Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, a world renowned economist, the Congress led UPA government’s economic policies had fallen flat and the country had to suffer economic crisis and inflation. Adding further he said inflation ratio had reached 18.18 percent, which also proved that this ‘so called’ Government of ‘Aam Aadmi’ was actually anti-people and a pro-MNC government.
Describing BJP’s Prime Ministerial Mr. Narendra Modi as a matchless political figure, Mr. Badal thanked the electorate for reposing their faith in development oriented state governments by giving them repeat terms in Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat respectively.


He also exhorted the voters of the country that they must differentiate between development oriented governments and the parties looting the assets of the country before casting their votes in ensuing Lok Sabha elections. “Once the NDA comes to power at Center there would be floods of grants for the development works in country as well as states,” he added.


Announcing that Punjab CM Mr. Parkash Singh Badal is coming out with a plethora of welfare schemes in the next few months,  Mr. Sukhbir Badal said within a period of a month beneficiaries of Atta-Daal scheme would be brought under the health insurance cover and they would get treatment up to Rs. 30000 free of cost in private hospitals too. He said the Deputy Commissioners had also been directed to complete the fresh survey for inclusion of more eligible beneficiaries to Atta-Daal scheme. He said the scholarship of Rs. 30000 per annum would be given to those meritorious students, who would secure more than 80 percent marks in matriculation.


Earlier Mr. Badal also inaugurated road from Guruharsahai to Muktsar-Jalalabad via Boor Wala Kuti Road, Mamdot to State Highway Ferozepur-Fazilka Road, Chak Mobain Hardo Dhandi to Tahliwala Road besides laying the foundation stone of new bus stand at Guruharsahai with a total costs of all projects Rs. 30 crores. Prominent amongst those present on the occasion Mr. Sher Singh Ghubaya, Member Parliament, Mr. Vardev Singh Maan, Senior Akali leader, Commissioner Ferozepur Division Mr. V.K. Sharma, DIG Mr. Mohnish Chawla, Mr. Manjit Singh Narang, Deputy Commissioner, Mrs. Sonali Giri, ADC, Ferozepur and Rohit Vohra Montu.
