State level training programme by RTS commission concludes

CHANDIGARH: A two day State Level Training programme organized by the Punjab Right to Service Commission to train the nominated Master Trainers concluded here today.          


Divulging the details, Dr. Dalbir Singh Verka, Commissioner, Punjab Right to Service Commission said that these master trainers would further make the people aware about this Act at district levels. He said that since it is not possible to cover each and every designated officer and first appellate authorities in the trainings, imparted by the commission, it was necessary to train the Master Trainers for the training to the remaining designated officers and first appellate authorities. “Punjab Right to Service Commission has organized the Master Trainers Training Programme so that the goal of 100% implementation of the Act be achieved and the delivery of notified services under this act be provided with dignity, hassle free and without any kind of corruption, within the time limit to the citizens of Punjab” he added.


Dr. Verka further said that under Punjab Right to Service Act, 2011 duties, functions and power of master trainers are, to impart the training to the designated officers, first appellate authority, various employees of suvidha centres, sanjh kendar’s and fard kendar’s in the district, the programme would be organized with the assistance of ADC General/Deputy Commissioners. He said that to update the knowledge regarding Punjab Right to Service Act, 2011, the periodical training camps are organized by the commission for master trainers. 
 
 
He said that The Punjab Government has all set to provide 149 services of 18 different departments under the Act, earlier 69 services of 11 departments had been identified.  He informed that Punjab Government was the first state  in the country that had constituted the Punjab Right to Service Commission after implementing the Punjab Right to Service Act, 2011, with a view to execute this Act in true spirit. On this occasion other members of commission Mr. H.S.Dhillon and Mr. S.M.Sharma were also spoke on the occasion.
