Punjab's employees' wait for salaries look endless

Chandigarh: The Punjab government guaranteed to have cleared the compensations for August, however, examinations have affirmed that the greater part of the state government's workers had not appropriated their compensation work on Wednesday.

 

The Opposition Congress has anticipated a Black Diwali for state workers as the administration requires extra Rs 2,800 crore to clear the remittance and pay requisition unfulfilled obligations.

 

An official from State Ministerial Services Association, Amritsar, said, “We have not accepted our August compensations. Prior, we might get our compensation on the first day of the month however things modified after March. The July compensation was paid on August 7. No bills were passed between August 12 and August 31.”
