CHANDIGARH: Dr. Charnjit Singh Atwal, Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha, who is representing India in the Conference of Commonwealth Countries in South Africa, while especially extending warm wishes, has congratulated Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal for being once again elected the President of Shiromani Akali Dal. While congratulating him, Dr. Atwal stated that this is the result of Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal's patronage under which Shiromani Akali Dal is consistently progressing for the past many years.
The inspiration of Fakhar-E-Kaum Mr. Pakash Singh Badal, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Punjab and systematic dynamic leadership of Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal and his idea to seek cooperation of all the workers, has once again resulted in creating history by not only forming Shiromani Akali Dal Government for the second consecutive time in Punjab rather by emerging victorious in all the elections that of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee and other elections and brought laurels to the 'Panth' in North India i.e. Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi.
As a result, Shiromani Akali Dal also recorded victory in Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee elections in Himachal Pradesh and Haryana. By contesting elections on two seats in Haryana Assembly Elections, one candidate of Shiromani Akali Dal also became Member of Haryana Vidhan Sabha for the first time.
Today, people are viewing their dreams come true visualized through Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal with his own sagacity in order to change the scenarios of Punjab from each and every side for connecting the Punjab NRIs with the motherland, Punjab. While taking advantage of International Airport, Four Thermal Power Plants, Bathinda Refinery and Ultra-Modern Projects for rural areas and cities in Punjab for the first time, the people of Punjab showered blessings on Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal. Due to these blessings, the entire leadership of Shiromani Akali Dal has given another opportunity to Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal by electing him their President in order to serve the Panth.
