JALANDHAR: A day after hike in power tariff by the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission, Punjab Pradesh Congress president Partap Singh Bajwa has announced that the party would move the Punjab and Haryana high court against the hike which was second in six months and would also organize protests. Speaking to mediapersons here on Thursday, Bajwa said while SAD-BJP leaders could holiday in Goa the people of the state were being taxed heavily. He said that in a few days the party would move the high court on the issue and the party would also hit the streets by organizing protests to oppose the hike. Bajwa asked the SAD leadership to make the details of donations to the party pubic, especially the funding for Goa trip. "Sukhbir asked his leaders to remain ready for the next Parliament elections but what was there to brainstorm if he had come up with this final statement only. He could have said it here also," Bajwa said.
