Mohali --- Aryans Job Fest” has been successfully concluded with the attendance of around 2600 candidates form different states of North India. Around 281 candidates were shortlisted for different profiles in the Job Fest. With the participation of more than 35 large multinationals and small enterprises, the Job Fest was held at Aryans Group of Colleges situated at Village Nepra, Chandigarh-Patiala highway, Near Chandigarh. The event was presided over by Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges.
It is to be mentioned that with the campus visits of 300 companies in previous year and moving towards the number which is almost double in this year, Aryans Group is being counted among the elite Educational Groups of the regionDr Kataria said that students from various Institutions and Universities like SRM, JSS, USBS, Oriental College, Kurukshetra University, Surya World, LPU, Dr. IT, Northern India College, Trash College, Gurukul Vidyapeeth, Arya College, GHEC, MMU, GNDU, SVIET, BBSB, Ramghariya College and Punjabi University also participated in Aryans Job Fest and got the jobs and companies like Airsoft Infosys, Beta Soft, Karman Infotech, LIC, Jetking, NIIT, PACT Solutions, QIKADS, Sachdeva Consultants, Scholar Zone, Tech Berry, Toxsl, Unit Nexus, Thinknext, Webart, Allumez Infosys, Amarpali Resorts etc were present to provide job opportunities to the candidates.
Dr Kataria further said that Company officials were indeed pleased to see such a heavy walk-in and appreciated the zeal among the applicants. After the rounds of written Test, Group Discussion and interview they shortlisted the candidates. He added that these kinds of Job Fests provide an excellent opportunity of direct communication between the Job provider and Job seeker under one roof.Prof. A.P. Jain, Director, Aryans Group said that the choice of companies for a student was multiple. The students were able to set up the priorities as to how they should plan the day. Every participant could appear for maximum 4 companies. Packages offered ranged from 2 to 4 Lacs per annum. There were many students who were able to secure more than one offer letter.
