Ludhiana----     Standing true to his word, Manish Tiwari, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, and Member Parliament, Ludhiana extended a grant of RS.13.75 lakh to Ramgarhia Girls College, which was announced to the College during the Annual Convocation Function held on March 9 this year, wherein he presided over as a Chief Guest.

Out of the said amount, a cheque of Rs. 8,25,000 was handed over to the Principal, Dr. Narinder Kaur Sandhu and Ranjodh Singh, President, Ramgarhia Educational Council by Surinder Kumar Dawar, MLA and Pawan Diwan, President, Urban Congress Committee today in the college premises.

The college principal expressed her gratitude to Tiwari for his support in the form of financial assistance. Ranjodh Singh also thanked the minister and said that the amount would be aptly used for the benefit and upliftment of students.Jagtar Singh, Harbans Singh and other members were present during the function.
