Maluka directs DEOs to complete the process of transfers by august 22

Chandigarh: The Punjab Education Minister S. Sikandar Singh Maluka today directed all the District Education Officers (DEOs) to complete the process of district level transfers of teachers and other staff by August 22 and send the lists of transfers at the Headquarter by August 26. He informed that the lists of inter district transfers have already been uploaded on the education department website.

 

The Education Minister categorically said the transfers should be strictly as per the transfer policy. He said that the unmarried girls and widows should be given priority and efforts should be made to adjust them to nearest stations. Besides this, the parents of specially-abled children should also be given priority.

Its good to give preference over widows and unmarried girls.

Transfers all over district cause shifting and annoy if happens regularly.
